Oliver and his pal Peanut were abandoned along with three other dogs in their home. They spent about 2 weeks in the home before being confiscated by law enforcement. They were very fortunate to survive. Being confined with no opportunity to go out, he is in the process of refreshing his house training skills. He does very well, but will mark occasionally since there are 4 other male dogs in the house, also willing to mark. It has helped considerably since he has been neutered. Oliver is black with the prettiest gray markings. His coat is very soft, with waves. He has a pretty gray tuft on his head and a nice little plume at the end of his tail. He loves to be held, is not rammy, and likes to sleep under the covers with you at night. He likes to chase the cats that run, but also likes to clean Maggie's (a cat) face and curl up with her. Just depends on the action of the cat. While he likes to chase, I don't think he would ever harm one. If one of the cats here would give him a good swipe he would probably quit. He weighs in at about 8.5 pounds, is probably somewhere between 18 and 24 months old. He has been neutered and is current on all his vaccinations. A heart worm test will be perfored in the spring, or prior to adoption, whichever comes first. K9HAVEN Rescue is a 501(c)3 corporation.
